Abstract

We investigated the effects of gel composition and crystallization conditions on the hydrothermal synthesis of ZAPSO-43 single crystals in detail. Large single crystals of ZAPSO-43 (around 250 -c;m) with high quality were synthesized by optimizing the following synthesis conditions: crystallization temperature and duration, molar ratio of SiO 2 /Al 2 O 3 and ZnO/Al 2 O 3 , content of HF acid and organic template dipropylamine (DPA). Single-crystal X-ray diffraction measurement show that the as-synthesized ZAPSO-43 are of Fddd symmetry with lattice constants a = 9.9985 Å, b = 14.2565 Å and c = 14.5726 Å, -1; = -2; = Å3; = 90° and their unit volume is V = 2077.22 Å 3 .
