Abstract

Due to rapid progress in LED (Light Emitting Diode) technology, LEDs have become increasingly prevalent in applications to automotive lighting. This paper studied the life of LED headlamp by evaluating the illumination maintenance based on Arrhenius model. The experimental results that the illumination maintenance is 0.959 and 0.955 at 1000 hours accelerated aging at 35°C and 55°C respectively. This paper may provide a valuable reference for evaluating the life of LED headlamps. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
