Abstract

The article presents a study which was focused on identifying plant species that are prone to become invasive in California because of the horticultural trade. More than 774 species has been invasive in the Mediterranean climates out of which 186 species are expected to become invasive in California. It further mentions that 47 percent plant species are not naturalized in California.
