Abstract
- This paper aims to explore the trajectory of consolidation of the Human Resources field and the models of People's Management found in Brazil, as well as the perspective of impacts of the increasing number of young practitioners in labour market. For that, it starts from an historic approach, which contemplates the perspective of human resources management into the organisational scenario, and also the process of consolidation of human resources practices in Brazil, especially after the regulations grounded through the Labour Acts Consolidation. It handles the landscape of the field on national current times, especially related to the models of human resources management found in various types of organisations (empiric, bureaucratic-legal, technical and strategic). After that, it discusses about the trends in people's management, and its relation to young practitioners, especially members of called Generation Y. Among these trends, it highlights the changes in the profile of careers, job contracts and relationships between organisations and workers, beyond the diversity of generations working together at organisations. For illustrate these discussions, the author used data from researches elaborated by PROGEPFIA, which contemplates themes such as "the best enterprises to work" and "the best enterprises to start a career", showing the point of view of young practitioners.
