The article examines the incidence rates and risk factors of aortic aneurysm and aortic dissection among systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) patients using the Taiwan National Health Insurance database. The retrospective cohort study identified SLE patients and age-, sex- and comorbidity-matched control patients without SLE.
