General practice training in Scotland: the views of GP trainers and educators.

The article presents views of general practitioner (GP) trainers and educators on GP training in Scotland. Focus group interviews and telephone interviews were used to gain the views of GP trainers and educators. The surveyed personnel think that GP training had changed with more stress on assessment than training and mentoring.
