Reports that the incidence of landmine-related injuries doubled between 1980 and 1993. Numbers of deaths or injuries per month; Approximate numbers of landmines already buried around the world, and numbers of new landmines planted each year; Their medical, environmental and economic consequences; Information on three cases of landmine injury.
