Abstract

Presents a study testing the hypothesis that hemorrhage and resuscitation (H-R) results in myocardial adaptation by a mechanism mediated by alpha1-adrenoreceptors and requiring de novo protein synthesis. Effect of acute cardioadaptation to H-R stress; Mediation of H-R-induced endogenous adaptation by alpha1-adrenoreceptors.
