Studies the tectonic evolution of the western United States Cordillera during the Early Jurassic period. Analysis of data from the Black Rock Desert of northwest Nevada; Effect on Paleozoic and early Mesozoic magmatic arc rocks in the area by regional shortening deformation and metamorphism in the Early Jurassic; Variations of tectonic conditions along the Early Jurassic plate margin.
