Abstract
- The article discusses the 2014 Veterans Writing Project (VWP), a writing workshop for veterans. Insights are presented from its participants including veteran Lisa Barber, instructor Jim Mathews, and VWP founder and director Ron Capps. It adds that Capps and journalist Kelly Kennedy, who are also veterans, led the one week writing workshop in creative nonfiction.
