Abstract

Highlights: [•] PANI was well attached with Au/TiO2 catalyst. [•] PANI can remarkably promote CO oxidation over Au/TiO2. [•] A trace H2O could promote CO oxidation over Au/TiO2–PANI. [•] PANI could promote the electron transferring from TiO2 to Au surface. [•] Promoted electron transfer could be attributed to the interaction of PANI with TiO2 and Au nanoparticles.
