Day-case re-do varicose vein surgery.

The article presents a study which aims to assess re-do varicose vein surgery as one day case is safe and feasible. The study shows that 91% of patients were satisfied with the initial surgical result but declined to 81% in the longer term. It reveals that 89% would have their surgery done again as one day case. The study concludes that re-do sapheno-popliteal or sapheno-femoral can be done safely as a day case.
