Value Chains, Trade and Biodiversity.

In Peru, there is a gradual appreciation of the articulation between emerging markets and national value chains linked to the sustainable use of biodiversity. Megabiodiversity and ecosystem services have contributed to a response to the opportunities offered by the international market. This paper analyzes the economic importance of biodiversity, particularly in the development of value chains in different regions of Peru that are part of a diversified export supply.
