Abstract
- In this article, the author discusses effect of climatic changes on sea and oceans, and mentions new records of iceberg-rafted debris from the Scotia Sea which reveals episodic retreat of the Antarctic Ice Sheet since the peak of the last glacial period. The author also mentions Last Glacial Maximum (LGM), occurred between about 26,000 and 19,000 years ago, melted ice sheets which raised global sea level by about 130 metres.
