Abstract

Highlights: [•] AHAS activity and mRNA profiling of ahas genes were evaluated in sunflower. [•] Reproductive and vegetative tissues were analyzed at several developmental stages. [•] Different patterns of ahas gene expression were detected from each tissue. [•] AHAS activity and gene expression were highly correlated in reproductive tissues.
