Image processing is inescapable and long process required for image recognition. To implement it in an embedded system with limited resources, process optimizations should be made. This paper presents an algorithm for counting incoming and outgoing moving objects. The algorithm is implemented in STM3210E- EVAL development board, where image processing is done.
