Abstract

Highlights: [•] Permanent superhydrophobic properties on injection-molded polypropylene substrates can be obtained by a simple dip-nanocoating process. [•] At Ti–OH surface relative concentrations higher than about 25%, the surface kept a superhydrophobic static state but lost its self-cleaning properties. [•] Precise tuning on the superhydrophobic dynamic component can be obtained by the control of the roughness together with the chemical surface composition of polar groups. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
