Abstract: Investigates the hydrolytic activities and specificities of gel-entrapped Candida cylindracea lipase and Rhizopus arrhizus lipase toward olive oil and tributyrin. Activity of lipases in hydrophobic gels with the longest chain lengths; General characteristics of immobilized lipases; Increase in the ratio of the activity on tributyrin to that of olive oil.
