Reports on the insignificance of risks for the occurrence of BSE or mad-cow disease on cattle in the United States according to a statement from the US Department of Agriculture. Possibility of risks evolving from the similarity of processing of sheep parts as cattle feed in the United States and in Great Britain; Abundance of soybean meal fed to American cattle reducing BSE risks.
