Abstract

Highlights: [•] Novel cyclodiphosph(V)azane ligand and its zinc(II) complexes were synthesized and characterized. [•] Analytical results have justified the [Zn2(L)X2(H2O)4]nH2O composition. [•] Thermal behavior of the ligand and its zinc(II) complexes was studied using TGA technique. [•] Structure and spectra for the ligand and its zinc(II) complexes were computed at the B3LYP/6-31G(d).
