Abstract
- The article discusses research which investigated profiles of patients with mental health and substance use disorders. The study used data from the 2007 Australian National Survey of Mental Health and Wellbeing to explore characteristics of patients belonging to three age groups. Aside from types and rates of disorder, the factors compared include the suicide tendencies of patients, the presence of co-occurring disorders, distress levels, and social support being received.
