The article offers information on a study to examine international relations, and to determine how autocracies and democracies interact with one another, and what may motivate rational actors to pursue an alliance. Topics discussed include alliances between the U.S. and a foreign autocratic party, democracy as one of the oldest forms of government in the world, and autocracy system of government. It further discusses dictatorships often established in states with little economic vibrancy.
