Abstract

A conference paper about the efficiency of U.S. President Barack Obama in generating public approval of his job performance despite economic conditions that affected his administration is presented. It discusses a study that employed Data Envelopment Analysis and multiple regression model. Topics discussed include comparison of Obama's popularity function during his first term in the White House with 10 previous U.S. presidents, estimation of presidential popularity and Obama's approval.
