Abstract
- The article focuses on the failure of Chinese regulators to close loopholes for exploitation of share prices and transfers as they address burdens in initial public offerings (IPOs). Topics discussed include the issuance by the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) of the Opinions on Further Promoting the Reform of the System for Offering of New Shares, the criticism of the high average price earnings ratio of newly issued shares and the manipulation of the issue price.
