The rural space is understood in its multiples aspects, whether economic or cultural. Therefore depends on the look of the researcher and the objectives previously outlined. This paper aims to review literature on rural space and point the analytic perspective as a foundation in understanding the rural and rurality. The choice of the theoretical model used for the construction of this text does not presuppose the absence of other readings of the rural space, but underlies our concern and theoretical coherence.
