Abstract

Presents a study which examined a peptide containing residues 36-59 of the human CD4 receptor, which includes most of the residues thought to be involved in binding the HIV surface glycoprotein, gp120. Synthesis of the peptide; Description of the human CD4; Characterization of CD4 peptides; Methodology employed in this study; Findings of the study.
