Abstract
- The Research Active Programme (RAP) was designed to enable adults with intellectual disabilities to learn about the purposes and process of research. This article introduces RAP's content and draws on the experiences of 14 RAP students, three facilitators and two research assistants to present a critique of the programme's eight weekly sessions. It also makes recommendations to enrich the learning experience of students during future versions of the programme. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
