Abstract

We analyzed the phenomenon which is similar to "node" and " serratula" generated by natural pouring water, restored the phenomenon through a large number of repeated experiment and figure out the causes of the phenomenon with the combination of mechanical analytic modeling and computer simulation. This paper, by using the fluid continuity equation, combined with the appropriate boundary conditions, obtained the exports rate distribution of water in the smooth cylinder, and pointed out that the functional relationship between the node and quantity of flow. We manufactured asymmetric rate distribution to produce rotation of the water column. Finally, through simulation, we improved the credibility of the theory. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
