Abstract

The article presents a case study of a patient who developed gastrointestinal bleeding due to acquired diverticulum at the ileocecal valve. Topics discussed include massive hematochezia presented by the patient, the results of colonoscopy and histologic examination, and therapeutic angiography to control the bleeding.
