Abstract
- Discusses a study made testing the hypothesis that moderate calorie restriction (CR) prevents age-associated changes in T cell subsets and their cellular immune functions. Findings on virgin and memory cells; High lipid intake and food restriction; Finding that CR, in conjunction with dietary fats provide additional protection in decreasing the rise of autoimmune disorders during aging.
