- Describes the social organization of pigtailed langurs (simias concolor) living in the Pagai Islands, Indonesia, and suggests that any one-male mating system that comprises a mixture of one-female and multifemale groups in the same population be termed monandry. Background and methods; Results; Comparative discussion of data based on previous and present findings; Conclusions.
