Danish Welfare Reform and Lutheran Background in the Mid-Twentieth Century.

The article discusses the relationship between the the Lutheran Church and the reform of the Danish welfare state during the mid 20th century. An overview of voluntary religious organizations' charitable social work in Denmark is provided. The relationship Lutheran theology and ethics, including in regard to social services, is discussed.
