Abstract: The article discusses the disciplines of political science and law and the role of courts in the management of economic issues. Topics discussed include the regulation of the insurance industry in the U.S., the evolution of insurance common law, and insurance policy contexts. Also provided are some Supreme Court decisions regarding conflicts between insurers and claimants.
