Abstract

The pressure monitoring devices on most microwave reactors which seal the reaction vessel are designed for high temperature/high pressure reactions and can-not remove undesired gaseous by-products that can stall a reaction. CEM's Activent® pressure device for the Discover® SP microwave synthesizer provides the capability to successfully manage both types of reactions easily. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
