The article focuses on addressing infrastructural deficit and skill shortage in Zambian mining industry. Topics discussed include insufficient power generation as the biggest risk to the mining sector with a shortage of around 200 mega watt (MW), Zambian natural resources accounting for up to 50 percent of the Zambian construction market and low education and skills levels as another great challenge in Zambian economy.
