ENCOURAGING ETHICS IN ORGANIZATIONS: A REVIEW OF SOME KEY RESEARCH FINDINGS.

The article discusses organizational behavior, the U.S. Federal Sentencing Guidelines, and efforts to encourage ethics in organizations as of January 2014, focusing on reviews of several ethics-related research projects. Compliance with the law is addressed in relation to the U.S. Department of Justice, prosecutions, and the requirements of the nation's Sarbanes-Oxley Act. Compliance programs and organizational values are examined, as well as social identity theory and control orientation.
