Abstract

The article discusses various efforts to reduce corporate criminality in America as of January 2014, focusing on the work of business entities in regulating the employee behavior, as well as an analysis of the role of values in corporate culture. White collar crime and other business-related criminal behaviors are mentioned, along with regulatory strategies for combating criminal wrongdoing by employees. Legitimacy, power, and the effectiveness of sanctions and deterrence are examined.
