Abstract

The article offers tips of the prevention of the main causes of bearing damage. These causes include inadequate lubrication, overloading and contamination. It also explains the seven signs of bearing deterioration which include abnormal noises, lubricant deterioration or discoloration and displacement of rotational centerline.
