Abstract

The article focuses on the results of a "Professional Engineering" survey related to infrastructure in Great Britain. It states that 96% of respondents agreed that the Met Office was able to provide extreme weather warnings. It says that 64% of respondents claimed that train companies and airport operators were not able to deal with the consequences of bad weather. Moreover, 60% of respondents agreed that human activities caused climate change.
