Abstract
- Highlights: [•] We developed a system for tracing DNA adducts in targeted mutagenesis (TATAM). [•] TATAM introduces synthetic DNA adducts into specific regions of the human genome. [•] We investigated the consequent mutations of synthetic 8-oxoG by TATAM. [•] The 8-oxoG is processed in the same manner as that generated by oxidative damage. [•] TATAM could be used in cells with altered expression of bypass or repair proteins. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]
