Abstract
- Highlights: [•] Bi x (Se20Te80)100−x (0⩽ x ⩽12) glasses was synthesized by the melt quench technique. [•] The glass density and compactness increases with increasing the Bi content. [•] DSC results under non-isothermal conditions were reported and discussed. [•] The dependence of Eg and Ec was discussed in terms of the chemical bond approach.
