Abstract
- Highlights: [•] Antioxidant activity (AA) of different grades of white tea was studied. [•] Cold white tea infusions have higher AA than hot infusions. [•] AA correlates with total phenol, flavonoid and catechin content. [•] African white teas may have potential health benefits comparable to Chinese teas.
