Abstract: The article discusses how the physical education (PE) department at the Springside Chestnut Hill Academy, a kinder to 12th (K-12) school in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, have used technology to encourage students to be physically active as of June 2013. Topics highlighted include the students' tendency to use technology including mobile phones and tablet computers, the creation of technology-related activities for PE students and life skills that are already being taught in PE classes.
