Abstract
- The article examines the effect of a brief outpatient problem-solving intervention to promote healthy eating and nutrition activity in adolescents in the U.S. between June 2011 and January 2012. A randomized, controlled study was conducted to evaluate the intervention of 50 patients who were recruited from a mobile teen health van, teenager clinic, and pediatric obesity clinic. The study suggests that the intervention is feasible to improve the health and self-management skills of adolescents.
