Abstract

Abstract: A new selective fluorescence turn-on detection of hydrogen peroxide was established by taking advantage of the aggregation induced-emission (AIE) behavior of tetraphenylethylene unit and the reaction of hydrogen peroxide toward the arylboronic ester group in compound 1. Moreover, compound 1 was successfully utilized for the selective detection of d-glucose in aqueous solution. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]
