Abstract

The article presents research on formulas to compute planes pressure or stress tensor for a spherical subvolume of radius (R). Topics include the Method of Planes (MoP) spherical geometry formula by Todd et al. in a 1995 issue of "Physics Review;" the proposed Control Volume formulation by E. R. Smith, D. M. Heyes, D. Dini, and T. A. Zaki in a 2012 issue of "Physics Review;" the radial-dependence of the pressure tensor calculated y the Molecular Dynamics simulation; and the Radial Irving-Kirkwood formula.
