Abstract

Highlights: [•] Low-loss dielectrics (Mg1− x Zn x )4Ta2O9 (x =0.02–0.08) have been extensively investigated. [•] Formation of solid solution was confirmed by the XRD analysis and measured lattice parameters. [•] The ionic polarizabilities of the solid solutions were also obtained for the specimens.
