This article purports to show current problem of virtual media, where information on the people (social network, e-mail networks, etc.) is used with the purpose of control and surveillance and convenient studies in the market and production. This situation is analyzed from Benjamin and Benjamin's Marx. Based on the analysis of the category of superstructure inside capitalism and making a short analysis of arts and cinema, will be shown the cult for reproducibility, current worship for progress and the comfort of technology and devices. The text shows that users feel they can express themselves, but in fact what exists is a form of control.
