Abstract
- Determines, on a one-to-one basis, whether sild and captively reared males differ in their ability to acquire access to spawning females and fertilize eggs. Comparison of pairs of captively reared and wild males in isolated arenas to eliminate the potential for a few very dominant males to interfere with the interactions among other males; Importance of initial aggressive interactions in determining eventual spawning success.
