ANÁLISE ESPACIAL DAS PEQUENAS OBRAS HÍDRICAS NO SEMIÁRIDO PARAIBANO.

This work presents a mapping of Tecnologias Sociais Hídricas - TSH, in the Northeast of Brazil. The construction of large water works has been presented for centuries as the main intervention focused on hydropower development of Brazilian semiarid. However, the presence of social movements that work in accordance with a Civil Society Organizations, has shown that the inclusion of small water structures can promote socially population of semiarid northeast. In this search, we mapped tanks of plates from Google Earth imagery technology freely accessible on the Internet. Were chosen a few points to be checked in the field with the use of GPS trackers, the goal of this process was to analyze the possibility of mapping the construction of tanks through technology. The use of geotechnology available and freely accessible on the internet provide the mapping and monitoring the distribution of these actions, helping in the execution the programs that work with TSH, with regard to physical planning and territorial [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
